ROTARACT clubs are groups of young professionals committed to personal, professional and
community development. Rotaract fosters leadership and responsibility,
encourages high ethical standards and promotes international
understanding and peace.
Rotaract is an offshoot of Rotary International, taking its name from
the combination of ROTARY and ACTION. Today, there are over 8,200
clubs in about 170 countries and
geographical areas.
Youth between the ages of 18 and 30 may join regional Rotaract clubs to achieve the following goals:
- Strengthen leadership and professional skills. This includes a commitment
to high ethical standards within our professions.
- Improve the communities in which we live through fostering the Rotarian credo of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
- Advance international understanding, good-will and world peace through global friendships and service.
In Utah, there are 6 Rotaract clubs. We invite you to learn more about the Rotaract club in your area and how you might strengthen your leadership and professional skills, improve your local community, promote international peace, and develop life-long friendships.
